Polycolon thread designed by Shoeller Bregenz, Germany is a modified kind of polypropylene yarn provided with antibacterial protection and improved thermal properties compared to all synthetic and native fibres. This yarn is absolutely allergen-free and can be used for manufacturing anything from infantees to implants. It’s composed exclusively of carbon and hydrogen and thus is eco-friendly.
Polycolon is hydrophobic, it doesn’t take up water but helps to draw it away from skin to adsorbent layer keeping the body warm, dry and ready for action.

This is why it works for sportswear so well! The structure of the fiber itself features a superior moisture wicking capability, for this reason Polycolon polypropylene is recommended for production of sports and work clothes materials which prevents the chills and never sticks to skin.
Polycolon has the density of 0,91 g/cm3, it’s lighter than other comparable fabrics (40% lighter than cotton). So we assume that polypropylene is the lightest fiber and is suitable for sportswear: it feels light and comfortable on the skin.

Not only the lightness and moisture wicking of the material but also its low heat conductivity is essential for sportswear production. Polycolon’s heat conductivity rate is very low, and it means a great deal for material’s heat-trapping ability.
This thread is manufactured from yarn spinned of proactively engrained fibers, so the material is colorfast. The colors are fixed within the fiber and even the darkest ones don’t wash out.

Technological fabric absorbs moisture from the surface of the skin, takes it to the surface of the fabric of the sock and then evaporates it, drying out after a very short time.


“Smart” fabric, the fibers of which take the form of a foot and are capable of stretching and contracting in the legs that require it. Thus, the texture of the fabric adapts to each bend of the foot and “remembers” its features, which ensures ease of use after the first wearing of the product.


Full-fledged care of foot health when running involves supportive heel protection elements for both the leg portion, which is rubbed as often as the fingers. For this, ABSORBING PAD technology was introduced, which uses an additional absorbent layer around the heel, which more actively removes moisture from the surface of the skin and guarantees dryness.
